Are you a Maths Coordinator who would like to be more effective?

Are you new to the role of Maths Coordinator?

Do you know how Teaching for Mastery is affecting Primary Maths?

This 4 session programme is aimed at new and existing Maths Coordinators. The programme will focus on:

  • Developing individual enthusiasm to long term leadership effectiveness

  • Enhancing the expertise of the Maths Coordinators in a practical and constructive context

  • Developing the ability to lead quality Professional Development

  • Support the progress of Teaching for Mastery across the school

  • Encourage the sharing of ideas by teachers with a common aim

There are 4 sessions, all 2.30pm - 4.30pm at St John the Baptist School, Woking:

Tuesday 24 March, 28 April, 19 May and 23 June 2020.


Participants are required to attend all 4 sessions and complete intersessional tasks.

We can accept a maximum of 2 teachers per school.

Places are expected to go quickly so sign up now to avoid disappointment.



NB. As with all our Free or Funded Maths Hub Work Groups and programmes, we are funded by the Department for Education and therefore have to prioritise State Funded schools. If spaces are still available we are able to offer these to Independent schools, however we will need to charge fees and these will be advised separately.

North-East Hants and Surrey (NEHS) Maths Hub is led by St John the Baptist School, Woking and runs a large programme of  Work Groups and events throughout the year with the aim of improving Maths teaching, leadership and professional learning practice to transform Maths education.

The Maths Hubs Network is the collaborative partnership of the 40 Maths Hubs across England, supported and facilitated by the National Centre for Excellence in the Teaching of Mathematics (NCETM). It is part of the wider development of school-led, system leadership of education in England.
